Q: What's your favorite Juna product and how do you incorporate it into your everyday routine?
A: It’s hard to pick just one Juna product! I use Detox Drops, Gut Therapy and Nightcap Sleep Gummies every day. If I absolutely had to pick one, it would probably be the gummies. I’m currently obsessed with my Oura ring sleep score and I can see it go down when I don’t take them. My REM sleep is definitely improved when I get my Juna (plus it’s such a yummy little treat I get to look forward to before bed).
Q: A morning (or nightly) ritual you swear by?
A: I’m a Capricorn so I love a routine. Every day is an opportunity for a fresh start and what you do first think makes a big impact on how it will unfold. The very fist thing I put in my body after waking up is a mason jar of ginger+lemon water and Juna Gut Therapy. Next I make a green tea, leash up the pups and walk them for a few miles. No matter how crazy my day is, I have to fit this in, even if it means waking up super early.
Q: What helps keep you grounded?
A: Keeping grounded to me means staying consciously connected to the sensations in my body. To be truly in the now. I’m a firm believer in FEELING over numbing and curiosity over judgment. The best way I know how to do this is through movement. Not only does exercise keep me focused on where I am and what I am doing (or else I’ll bump into things or fall over lol), but it also connects me to breathe in a way that calms my nervous system, decreases anxiety and brings me into the moment. I love online classes because I can fit them into even the busiest day.
Q: Favorite way to connect to nature?
A: I grew up on the prairies in Canada and still need to spend time in nature regularly to feel joy. It’s in my blood. Sunshine before screens every morning is number one non-negotiable. I’m also super grateful to live in LA within walking distance to Griffith park. I love to leave my phone behind, grab the pups and just explore.
Q: Current Favorite Book/Podcast/Playlist?
A: That’s so hard! The playlists kinda feel like my babies and I love them all for different reasons. I think right now I’d have to pick our M/<45 Sweatin’ To The Oldies tribute to Richard Simmons. I collected hundreds of requests from our Global Fam to create it and it’s so fun, silly and nostalgic.
I’m on a major self-growth kick right now and currently re-reading Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza. It’s so good!
