Q: A morning (or nightly) ritual you swear by?
A: I am known for always talking about my morning routine, but when I say it has changed my life and is the foundation for all that I do, I’m not exaggerating. I wake up every morning around 5:15am. Usually naturally but I also have an old fashioned alarm clock on my nightstand just in case (no phones allowed in the bedroom!). Then I scrape my tongue, brush my teeth, get dressed in my workout clothes, and walk down to my living room to meditate and do my red light mask (I use a Jovs). As I’m walking down I drink water from my giant Stanley. Once I’m done meditating and doing my red light mask (usually 15-20 minutes), I’ll finish drinking my water, then put on a Wellcraft workout. I usually aim for 20-30 minutes. After that, I fill up my Stanley again, add my Detox Drops and by then my kids are usually up and it’s off to the races!
Q: What's your favorite Juna product and how do you incorporate it into your everyday routine?
A: I am obsessed with the Detox Drops and use them every day after my morning workout. I fill up my Stanley and add a dropper or two of the drops, then throw in a couple of ice cubes. It’s so refreshing and helps me stay hydrated all morning. I love the lemony/minty flavor. Even my kids are obsessed and always stealing it from me!
Q: Any health concerns that you are currently trying to support?
A: I’m currently 5 months pregnant with my third baby, so right now my main focus is to stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep, stay active and manage my stress levels.
Q: If you could give one piece of wellness advice to women looking to improve their health, what would it be?
A: Trust your intuition. If you think something is off, don’t take no for an answer. You know your body best and you’re not crazy!
Q: What’s a wellness trend or practice you’ve tried recently that you love?
A: I’ve been doing this for years but I am obsessed with my infrared sauna. I can’t use it right now because I’m pregnant, but I usually will use it 3-4 times a week. It’s so amazing for detoxing, reducing stress levels, relaxing the body, and the days I use it I sleep so well that evening!
Q: What’s your go-to meal or snack when you need something healthy and quick?
A: I love a good beef stick. :)
Q: Current Favorite Book/Podcast/Playlist?
A: I’ve been listening to The Mel Robbins Podcast, Well with Arielle Lorre, and The Art of Being Well. As far as books, it’s not my usual genre but I’ve been loving the Fourth Wing series and am currently reading the third book, “Onyx Storm.”
