Wellness with @katherinegarbarino

Q: Any health concerns that you are currently trying to support?

A: I am really just trying to find ways to level up my already well rounded wellness routine. I am always working on better digestion and currently trying to improve my thyroid function.

Q: What's your favorite Juna product and how do you incorporate it into your everyday routine?

A: I really love the detox drops- I use them daily or twice daily. I will either add them to my lemon water in the morning or in my afternoon water. I have noticed a brightness in my skin and better elimination since incorporating them into my daily routine.

Q: A morning (or nightly) ritual you swear by?

A: I am a bit of a crazy person when it comes to rituals and routines. There would be far too many to type out here but a few staples in my routine are: My morning lemon water and electrolytes, a shot of high phenolic olive oil, 10 minutes of rebounding and dry brushing every morning. No matter what! I never skip these routines. I share all of these and more on my IG and Girls Living Well site.

Q: If you could give one piece of wellness advice to women looking to improve their health, what would it be?

A: Start small- take the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator. Have water first thing in the morning. Aim for some sort of movement daily. I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to do all the things but really it's the small choices that add up to big results.

Q: What’s a wellness trend or practice you’ve tried recently that you love?

A: Castor Oil packs- this is something I have been doing for years but have stuck to more diligently recently and noticed such a difference in my bloating, digestion and elimination. I do castor oil packs over my abdomen, my thyroid and my liver!

Q: What’s your go-to meal or snack when you need something healthy and quick?

A: I love a chomps meat stick! My fave is beef sea salt. I also often reach for a honey crisp apple and sprinkle it with cinnamon!

Q: Current Favorite Book/Podcast/Playlist/App?

A: I am currently reading "reminders of him" by Colleen Hoover and simultaneously reading "Let Them" by Mel Robbins. I love The Skinny Confidential podcast. Playlist is Adam Port on Spotify and 90s 2000s r&b, hip hop.
